The Czechovalian revolution

Since the 15th century, Czechovalia has been a monarchy characterized by a patriarchal dictatorship. The government was highly dependent on international trade to support the elaborate lifestyle of the monarch. The people suffered under high taxes and had no say in the political policy. Women were not allowed many rights. They were inferior to men. The people suffered under this dictatorship, but were fed Western entertainment as a way of keeping them distracted from the political and social inequality. Poverty was at an all time high in early 1998. Men began to gather in the safety of their neighborhoods to express their dissatisfaction with the government. Most woman were not included in these gatherings, because they were deemed as too ignorant to have an opinion on these matters.
By the summer of 1998, Czechovalian men began gathering by the thousands in big cities to protest the political policy. The government was unprepared for such large gatherings, and called on the military to respond. The military reacted violently in order to suppress these demonstrations. 18 people were killed over the span of four protests that summer. The Czechovalian people were outraged. What had first begun as a semi small gathering of displeased people, had transformed into a nation wide plea for help and call for vengeance.
During the fifth protest, on August 3rd, almost the entire male population and the women who were allowed to be there by their husbands or fathers, had swarmed the streets demanding change. The military responded with deadly force once more. But the Czechovalian people fought back. One third of all the Czechovalian men died during a six month long civil war. The women they left behind took up arms, and eventually, on the 26th of January 1999, the revolution came to its end thanks to one leader. This leader was Ondrea Movalia. Under her strategic leadership, men and women joined forces and forced the military to put down their weapons and allow the people entry to the House of Governing Officials. There, Ondrea Movalia forced the reigning government to resign. The monarch and government officials were placed under arrest and incarcerated to await trial and judgement.
Over the span of a year, a new political system was introduced. After a referundum, it was decided that Czechovalia would continue into the future as a communist nation, stopping all international trade and employing a female organised government. After the horrible treatment of a patriarchal government, the loss of so many men and the outstanding performance of Ondrea Movalia and her female comrades, the nation recognized the stability a female-run country could offer. The revolution and its outcome shifted the meaning of being male and female. Now, they are the complete opposite. Femininity is now associated with strength, leadership and ration. Masculinity is now considered to be accompanied by emotion and dependency.

The new government understood that continuing vast international trade and broadcasting Western entertainment would be incompatible with their new values and political system. So it was decided that Czechovalia would become a self-dependent communist nation with no international trade and as little international travel as possible.

Ondrea Movalia is still the political leader of Czechovalia to this day, earning her the new title Supreme Leader. Under her authority, a communist regime centered around the wellbeing of the people has been implemented. After two decades of this new political system, run by the consistent Supreme Leader, the country is thriving and the political system is stable. The Czechovalian people have recognised that sacrificing their freedom of selfgoverning to a female-run communist government has provided them with security, welfare and happiness. This period in Czechovalian history has already been dubbed 'The Golden Age' by the people.
